After watching classic episodes of The Saint I felt inspired to make this. It's the quintesential 60's gentleman spy. It has elements of Roger Moore's style and witty grin. I gave it shadow and put it against the union jack for the final effect.

 

This is a doodle I did at work. It turned out ok so I decided to colour it and add tone. It's office warfare and he's sneaking around weilding his trusty stapler. I don't know who he's fighting, but its probably the machine!

This was a really quick doodle that I thought looked suprisingly ok and dynamic. He also looked like a 70's cop, so I stuck in a grumpy police chief and added a generic rogue cop speech. Think it turned out ok and looks slightly comic panel ish.

Here's some more concept art for the office worker with a robo hand! Getting the hand and aiming it! I scanned them in as pencil sketches and layered them to darken them. It was lucky by trying to make it lighter, I found out I could get some coolish lighting effects. Reckon the sketchy outlines and solid colours work better than expected.
